Baby's First Pics

These last few days have been quite challenging.... Monday night I (Allison) had severe cramping for about 8-10 hours. I couldn't walk, stand up, turn over, basically do anything. We decided to take a trip to the Dr the next morning since this was not normal. After several tests and spending the day at the hospital it was discovered that I had kidney stones... YIKES! The worst of it was over by that time and I have slowly started to recover from it. I guess it was preparing me for labor. :)

The best part of the experience is that Cory and I got to see our little baby for the first time! Something we will NEVER forget! The baby was extremely active and it's heart was beating 167 times per minute. We can honestly say that it IS a miracle growing inside me!

The baby is well and the kidney stones have no affect on him/her. Our due date is now September 22nd..... it seems like it's coming so fast!

Moving Right Along......

We're 11 weeks today...only 1 more week and the 1st trimester is OVER! I've been pretty under the weather with morning sickness, but it's starting to slowly get less and less so I'm hoping it's gone soon! I do have more energy now which is nice. We don't get to find out the sex of the baby for 9 more weeks and are anxious to do so, we'd like to start decorating and buying things! We go for our 12 weeks check up next week and get to hear the heartbeat! :)

Baby Easterling's Beginnings

I found out on Thursday, January 15th that we were 4 weeks pregnant and broke the news to Cory with a pair of "I love daddy" socks :). We told the news to our families on January 17th and things have been a whirl wind ever since! We are currently 6 weeks and our first Dr's appointment is February 10th. We're hoping we'll have some pictures to share of our little one at that point. I'm doing well, no morning sickness yet, THANK THE LORD! Just extrememly tired!
